The Friend to Friend Food Pantry supplements the needs of elders, young families with children and individuals who could us assistance. This event, a collaboration between Friend to Friend, Expressions Pottery Workshop, the East Granby Women's Club and local restaurants, will help the Food Pantry meet the current food needs of East Granby recipients.

How it works: Choose a handmade bowl from Expression Pottery Workshop, fill it with one of the delicious soup choices, and keep the empty bowl as a reminder of the event's purpose!

Date: Saturday, September 29, 2007

Time: 11:30 - 1:30 p.m.

Location: East Granby Community Center

Dessert will be served at Expression Pottery Shop, located at 9 School Street, East Granby. Take a walk over to the workshop, watch a demonstration, browse the gallery and enjoy a yummy dessert! Free pumpkins donated by Peter L. Brown.

Cost: $12.00 in advance, $14.00 at the door. Deadline for pre-registration is September 29,2006 Pre-registration is strongly suggested, as these beautiful bowls go quickly!
